Technical Services Representative - Jonesboro, AR
Essential Functions Individual will focus on small plot trials dealing with seed treatments and growth data as required for RiceTec initiatives.
Individual will also assist with all other trials conducted on station and offstation.
This includes planting, plot maintenance, data collection, harvest, and data summarization.
Assist with daily responsibilities for operation of the Jonesboro, AR research station.
This includes building maintenance, field work, and field day preparation.
Assist sales in problem calls, data summaries, and presentations of data as needed to demonstrate the performance of our products.
Other duties as assigned.
On-Site work required.
Domestic travel may be required periodically.
Qualifications Bachelor of Science or business in the Agricultural related field 2
years Experience in production Agricultural related field with aptitude with using farm equipment.
Experience in production Agricultural related field with aptitude with using farm equipment.
Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of consultants, clients, customers, and the general public.
Possess a strong collaborative nature to work in an environment of multi-functional teams.
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Suite Must be adept with digital and GIS/GPS technologies with strong analytics capabilities.
Physical RequirementsIndividuals may need to sit or stand as needed.
May require walking level and unleveled surfaces for periodic periods throughout the day including flooded rice fields.
Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or lifting as required throughout the workday.
Proper lifting techniques required.
Must be able to lift 50-pound bag of seed.
